Socks are clothing materials worn on the feet. They are helpful in eradicating the sweat produced from the foot. They absorb the sweat and push it to the areas where it is easy to evaporate the sweat. Furthermore, in winters they minimise the risks of frostbite.
Socks production has seen many trends and changes since its inception. Made from animal silk in the initial eras of productions, presently, the socks are readily manufactured through nylon, silk, cotton and wool. They adhere to different types of materials, such as, cotton, acrylic, polyester, nylon, spandex and olefins, for their diversified ranges. Soft socks generally include incremented amounts of silk, linen, mohair and cashmere. They are available in different designs, colours, patterns and sometimes, dotty images.
Depending upon the length of the socks, their manufacturing differs. Bare socks, knee-high socks, over-the-knee socks, toe socks, and flip flops are the basic diversified alternatives for choosing a pair of socks. Moreover, they find a key role in the sports. Different games require different types of socks, depending upon the need and precautious issues. Tube socks, mid-calf socks, and knee socks etc. are used in different games.
Hence, the denial of socks in the everyday use is inevitable and useless.
