Bandana, commonly known as a kerchief, is basically a small piece of cloth that is used to tie around the head or the neck for respective purposes, such as decoration and accessorizing, etc. These are usually rectangular or square shape cloth pieces and they are commonly used to dab away perspiration or for protection from the direct heat from the sun rays. The Bandana is used by men and women from various different cultures and religions. These are the mandatory items to be worn by the Orthodox Christian women, Orthodox Jewish Women, Muslim women and Amish Women. Bandanas are available in many different sizes and colour combinations and these kerchiefs are different from that of the hats, although, both of them are worn to serve the same purpose.
The Bandanas are commonly printed in paisley pattern and they make a fashionable head accessory, especially among women nowadays. They are completed with plenty of traditional and modern designs; however, it is even easy to get the bandanas customized for specific purposes, such as identification or as a signifier of any kind of affiliation.
